Peer Feedback

Peer Feedback:  Strengths:  - 15/18 said I had good - lip-syncing editing. This was effective as it made the video look even better and seemed more helpful to the message of the video.  - 10/18, said the slow-motion fitted well within the music, which made it more effective. Giving the video a better atmosphere  - 10/18 said the overall editing was really slick and fitted well within the music. Meaning it made the video look more professional.  Areas for improvement:      - 4/18 said I needed better lighting. In these two shots they don't look like they go together but they do. So to improve I need to either use a filter to brighten the background or make sure that when I am filming that the weather is the same.  - 6/18 said that I needed to have a clearer storyline/message. Many suggested that the slow-motion could be built into the storyline making it more effective. - 8/18 said I needed a bigger variety of camera angles and transitions. Mo...

Music Video Reflection - 1 minute music video

 Reflection -  Firstly, I was happy with how I went to my three locations first to take test shots. This proved effective as I was able to plan what time period I had to film in without the weather changing and this then prevented the colours throughout the video changing to drastically. Although in the middle of the music video, in one of the shots the sky was a slightly different colour, this then broke up the music video slightly. I was also pleased with how I planned where I was going to film what locations and where I would out them in the video. This was effective as it gave structure to my filming, which then resulted in me being more proficient in filming the video. Another thing I was happy with was how I over filmed a lot of the shots. By filming the actors dancing and lip-syncing throughout the whole song in all three locations provided me with lots of footage and then I was able to cut down on this footage with a lot of spare shots just in case one of them did...
